None Other Has Ever Known
While I was praying before doing my "Stepping up" Bible study I was singing to the song, “Wonderful Maker” and this picture came to mind: The LORD walking among His perfected creation and all bowed in reverence singing “Holy, Holy, Holy” and Him relishing in the intense and rich praises being lifted up in whole honesty and purity of heart. Slowly, step by step put down with purpose, gracefulness and fluidness; Drinking in all with deep breaths, overcome with inexpressible emotion, He breaks into song! Oh the melody so passionate, steeped with emotion only the heart can define. As the vision danced its way through my head the song, “I Come to the Garden Alone” came to me. As I sang it, these parts stuck out to me, “…And the joy we share as we tarry there, none other has ever known…And the melody that He gave to me within my heart is ringing.” I thought about what Beth Moore had said in her session of Stepping up - that our lives are accompanied by music and that every time God sees breakthrough with us He breaks into singing! Not only does He break into singing with breakthroughs but He sings over us just because! With that I began to think of all the trials we had gone through together and all the melodies He had sung over me for peace to quiet my anxious heart as He pulled me close to His chest on those thick dark nights. Sang next to me as we approached yet another steep mountain to climb and doubt rang out loud, but His voice sang louder of encouragement and endurance, of a future and of hope. Songs that we both joined in together in harmony as we reached that mountain top and conquered the fear and doubt! Then a voice whispered ‘Oh, and the songs we’ve sung together through the good and the hard, the joyful and fearful, none other has ever known!”

Pictures By Em
Sunday afternoon we went out for a little nature walk around the Point Defience park to soak in the enchanting autumn day and all of God's curious creation. I thought I might share the photos with you that as you scroll though them you might stroll in a sense through the forest as well.

Endurance
I have started doing the first week of my Stepping up Bible study and am completely enthralled by it and God’s amazing Word! Its no wonder the study is so good, for it is about and focused on and around God’s truly amazing Word! And God says that His word will not return void! As I was finishing the first day I read the closing sentences and found my self overwhelmed with steeped emotion. Listen to what she says, “You and I are going to learn to worship God with our whole hearts – whatever their present conditions – as we pick up our weary, blistered feet and take the next step with God.” As I read this my mind couldn’t help putting pictures to these words which carrying such a great weight of meaning. Thinking upon this closing sentence I thought back to the previous page where she talked about all the things God has in store for us and thought that it would go well along with this one; in the sense that we mustn’t quit now, we have to go on because God still has so many wonderful things for us to do. “You and I have places to go. People to meet. Dragons to slay. Foes to defeat. If God had already taken us every where He intended, we’d be at his glorious feet by now…. God still has appointments for us.” So let us “pick up our weary, blistered feet and take the next step with God.”!

Keep Singing
Recently I was looking over the Daniel Bible study I had finished in just the first of this year, and in my study book I came to a chapter in it titled, “Keep Singing”. I looked over it and came to a paragraph where I had marked pretty well and so I stopped and read deeply what Beth, the author, was saying. As I read her words, I began to tear up. Here is what she said; “At times we may feel so outnumbered and outclassed that we’re tempted to ‘hang up our harps.’ We can’t do it, Sweet One. We can’t keep quiet. We have to keep singing the song of the Lord in this foreign land.” Through this present stage of my life and what seems like many road blocks, it is hard to not just give up, lose hope, to stop believing that there is indeed a light at the end of this tunnel. For I have been down for so long I don’t think I can lift my head up any more because it takes all I have to just keep my head above the waters from drowning at times. But then reading this, it brought conviction to my heart that I can’t give up! Even when I feel so out numbered and outclassed, especially then, for it’s “…Our job to keep singing the song of our God by the rivers of Babylon until all who have ears to hear can listen.”
Stepping Up Bible Study
Last week we, my mama, a few other women and I, started back up with doing Bible studies after a break for summer. We decided to do a Beth Moore study called Stepping up. We just watched the intro session and I am already so excided to get totally engrossed by this study through God's word! While watching the video she touched on a subjet that hit so close to home. She was talking about 'the troubles we've seen' and stated, "...Our situation would be a whole lot easier if we could get it through our heads that we are only passing through that moment!" Oh! How that just hit me so, like God Himself spoke those words right into my so weary soul! Needless to say I knew I was supposed to do this Bible study, and can't wait to see all the wonderful, amazing ways God will meet with each and every one of us!
